Healing Hands by Lani proudly supports the L.A. Clippers on the road and at home, working with the athletes and Medical Staff to optimize player's performance on the court. Lani Hennessey, the owner of Healing Hands, has trained a team of Massage Therapists who not only work out of our Downtown Hermosa Beach office but also travel to your home to accommodate client schedule/needs. Spending time training the staff has provided continuity in accessing and treating musculoskeletal imbalances, whether you see Lani or one of the staff members.
Every client's body is different and understanding the nuances of individual movement patterns and addressing the muscle, fascia & structure through a mix of manual therapy modalities in each session to promote symmetry and ease of movement is the cornerstone for each appointment.
Our team of therapists ferrets out the cause through clear communication, providing suggestions on movement modifications assisting clients to avoid revisiting the problem in the future. We strongly believe in the adage, “An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.” (more info on that here) educating clients on how they can best help themselves. We have many outside referral partners who assist us in addressing issues outside our scope of practice as Massage Therapists.
At Healing Hands, we practice Medical & Therapeutic Massage, which can be uncomfortable, especially if it is your first experience with Deep Tissue work. We take care to communicate with our clients about what they should be feeling and are careful to work within each person's comfort level. A massage with one of our Massage Therapists is an educational experience for your muscles and your mind!

What started as a hobby became a passion as she helped so many people improve their health through touch. Daniel has been active most of his life playing sports and weight training. Massage therapy has personally helped him with injury rehabilitation and prevention.
